On Tuesday, April 8, 2025, Crestwood voters will elect one Alderman from each of the city’s four wards.
This year, the incumbents in Wards 1, 2, and 3 are all seeking re-election—and all are running unopposed. Those incumbents are Jim Zavist (Ward 1), Michael Balles (Ward 2), and Greg Hall (Ward 3).
In Ward 4, Alderman Tony Kennedy will not be running, having completed the maximum of three full 3-year terms. Under our City Charter, he is not eligible to run again this year. Alderman Kennedy has served the city with dedication and distinction over the past nine years, and his experience and steady leadership will certainly be missed.
Two candidates are running to fill the open Ward 4 seat: Megan Gadallah and Steven Liddy. Both participated in a candidate Q&A with the Call newspaper, which you can read: HERE
Newly elected (and re-elected) Aldermen will be sworn in at the Board of Aldermen meeting on April 22, 2025.
