Prop-A is bringing some incredible improvements to Crestwood Parks, and one of the most anticipated projects is the new Community Center, set to become a cornerstone of our parks system. Construction is slated to begin next summer, with the grand opening expected in late 2026.
As part of this transformative project, a Nature Playscape will be built next to the new Community Center. This playscape will be designed as an inclusive space where kids of all abilities can play, climb, and explore the natural world in a fun and engaging environment.
The Crestwood Parks and Recreation Department is seeking your input on what features and activities should be included in this exciting new playscape. You’re invited to an open house-style event at the existing Community Center at Whitecliff on December 3, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. This will be a hands-on opportunity to:
- Explore the design concepts and options,
- Vote for your favorite ideas, and
- Share your thoughts and suggestions.
This is your chance to help shape an important addition to our community! While there will be an online survey available on December 4-5 for those who can’t attend, I highly encourage stopping by the open house. Seeing the options in person and having the opportunity to ask questions is the best way to get involved.
Let’s work together to create a space that will inspire generations to come. I hope to see you there!
