A Deep Dive into the Nov 5 Ballot

As we approach the November 5, 2024, General Election, it’s important for Crestwood residents to stay informed about what’s on the ballot and how to make their voices heard.

Wow - I counted 43 items on my sample ballot. They include races for U.S. President, U.S. Senator, and several state offices, as well as significant amendments and propositions. These range from regulating sports wagering and establishing reproductive health rights to increasing the minimum wage.

In the coming weeks, I will be releasing a series of articles covering the NINE constitutional amendments and propositions that will be included in this election. These articles will help explain what each ballot measure means (beyond the short ballot language we normally get to see). I will NOT be offering opinions on the candidates for office - you're on your own for that ;-)
