Panera Bread has submitted plans and an application to the city for a new store at Crestwood Crossing. This is targeted for one of the “out lot” buildings, which are the ones closer to Watson (not attached to the Dierbergs). Their application also includes drive-thru window service.
The application will be reviewed at a public hearing at the July 5 Planning and Zoning Commission and tentatively at the July 25 Board of Alderman meeting. No word yet on a proposed opening date, but preliminary interior construction work has been occurring at that building.

In addition to this proposed Panera, additional interior construction work is happening in the retail space attached to Dierbergs (on the east side). Dierbergs representatives have told me that they are excited about their future tenants and anticipate making additional announcements as they progress. Stay tuned!
