The Board of Alderman unanimously approved a 2-year renewal with Waste Connections for trash service in Crestwood. Back in 2018, the City entered a three-year contract which included the option to execute this two-year extension. With this extension, the contract will continue through March 2024.
The Public Works Board also reviewed this topic at their November 2021 meeting and felt that with the current labor shortage and inflation rates, it is beneficial for the city to renew this contract instead of issuing a request for bids.

Note - Waste Connections bills residents quarterly for 3-months of service.
Large Trash Pickup – if you have large/bulky items that need to be picked up, you can call Waste Connections at 636-321-2100 to schedule the pickup. Under the terms of this contract, they will do this at no charge on the 3rd pickup of the month (January – October) – but you have to call first.
