Tree Damage At Whitecliff Pool
Thursday, May 2, 2019
During the storm on April 30, 2019 and May 1, 2019, a tree adjacent to the Aquatic Center was struck by lightning and fell into the Aquatic Center.
It will cost approximately $4,500 to remove the tree. After it is removed, the City can assess the damage to the perimeter fence, the concrete block wall, and the Lazy River. This should be covered by the City's insurance, but it's unsure if all of this can be completed prior to opening day for the pool.
[UPDATE (5/3/2019)] - Gamma Tree was onsite Friday and completely removed the fallen tree.
